Banana Flower Curry |
Ingredients:
Banana flower (mocha)
Potato
Boiled black chana
Turmeric powder
Sugar
Salt
Bay leaf
Cumin seeds
Grated coconut
Ghee
Mustard oil
Garam masala powder
How to cook banana flower curry:
At first chop the banana flowers finely. Wash and then boil it. Now
strain the water and keep it aside. Cut the potato into small square pieces.
Now heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf and cumin seeds. Fry till spluttering
stops and add potato. Fry them and add boiled banana flowers. Now add turmeric
powder, salt and mix it. Then add boiled chana and a little bit of water. Cover
it till the potatoes become soft. Now add ghee and garam masala powder and mix
it.
Mochar Ghonto is now ready. Before serving, spread grated coconut.
