Corn pudina rice (mint flavoured corn rice) is a very easy to cook recipe to try at home. We like this dish especially in summer for its mint flavor.

Corn pudina rice


Cooked basmati rice
Boiled sweet corn
Pudina (mint) paste
Chopped onion
Lemon juice (optional)
White oil

How to cook corn pudina rice:

Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion and sauté it. Add boiled corn and pudina paste and stir well. Now add cooked rice, salt and lemon juice (optional) and mix very well. Serve hot in a plate.

Mango Wrapped Sandesh

Lemon juice
Dry mango papad (amsotto or amawat)


In a vessel heat milk and then add a few drops of lemon juice. As a result the milk will break and turn into chenna (paneer) and will look like spongy lumps. Then strain water and keep chenna in a bowl. Now take some mango papad and tear it into small pieces and put into blender. Blend it well and make a paste. Now take a large bowl and mix chenna, mango paste and sugar. Mix it very well and make a smooth creamy texture. For mixing if you need you can use blender. Now put it in a non -stick pan and stir in a low flame for 5 minutes. When the dough is separated from the pan remove it from flame. Now keep it in a plate. The dough should be used immediately to make cylindrical shapes using your palms. Now take rest of mango papad cut into pieces (2 inches) and wrap the sweets. At last, garnish with silver foil paper.

Chicken dhania kabab (Coriander chicken kabab) is an easy to cook snacks. This yummy dish can be can be cooked very quickly (10-15 minutes post marination).

Chicken Dhania (Coriander) Kabab


Boneless chicken pieces
Coriander leaves
Ginger paste
Garlic paste
Green chilli paste
White oil
Foil paper


Marinate the chicken pieces with ginger – garlic paste, green chilli paste and salt for 30 minutes.
Now heat oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken and stir it.
Cover the pan till the chicken became soft.
Now in a blender take coriander leaves and blend it.
Add ginger- garlic paste, green chilli paste and curd with it and blend altogether very well.
Now open the lid from chicken and add this paste.
Stir well till it becomes dry.
Now take a few pieces of chicken and wrap it in foil paper like a toffee.
Now place a grill rack on an oven. Keep the foil wrap on the grill and roast both sides of the wrap for 1-2 minutes.
Chicken dhaniya kabab is now ready. Serve hot with salad.

Water (1 cup)
Sugar (3 tsp)
Black pepper powder
Roasted cumin powder (1tsp)
Mint leaves
Ice cubes


At first cut the mango into medium pieces. Boil them until they are soft. Now take out the pulp and sieve it to get the smooth pulpy juice. Add 1 cup of water with it. Then blend the liquid along with all ingredients in a mixer. Serve chilled sarbat with mint leaves.
